TDQ Tech For The Week Of 4/23/12

The GrinderyIn this week’s TDQ Tech, The Grindery boys present a piece about the Olympics and one about another huge purchase by that Facebook cat, Zuckerberg.

Finally got around to watching that “Social Network” flick. I liked Zuckerberg better in that “30 Minutes or Less” movie, I think. Which one was he nominated for an Oscar for? One of those, or the Zombie one with Woody Harrelson? I always get my Woody Harrelson movies mixed up.

The GrinderyIn this week’s edition of TDQ Tech, The Grindery presents a chilling tale of just how bad thing reallly are in the mobile phone industry, and a searing piece that takes you behind the scenes of a business meeting between Facebook and Google Plus.

Sort of reminded us of that scene in “Pirates of Silicon Valley” between Dr. Carter from ER and that dork from “Weird Science.” Awesome movie! (“Weird Science,” not “Pirates of Silicon Valley.”)

TDQ Tech For The Week Of 3/5/12

The GrinderyThis week’s TDQ Tech brings you a Grindery piece about HTC‘s next big thing, and a long-overdue feature that Facebook is finally bringing the world.

Yeah, clearly that new Facebook button will be a double-edged sword…but that’s the joy of Facebook, we suppose. Consider yourself warned, though.

Alleged Bieber Dog

Bieber claims there is no evidence the dog is his.

Charleston, SC—As if the teen superstar didn’t have enough legal issues right now, a woman has filed a lawsuit claiming Justin Bieber is the father of her 11 month-old Beagle, and the singer owes her more than $250,000.00 in “canine support.”

The lawsuit claims that Renee Denofa, 19, met Bieber backstage after a concert he gave in Atlanta in March of this year, and that the two had “a brief but meaningful encounter that led them to engage in a mutual, consensual purchase of the dog. But Mr. Bieber has not upheld his part of the responsibility of dog ownership, and has not responded to e-mails or posts left on his Facebook fan page seeking support.”

Denofa’s attorney, Gabriel Duval, said his client has “photographs and other supporting documents to prove that Bieber is, in fact, the father of the puppy dog,” and she is only seeking what is “morally and ethically hers.”
