This week’s TDQ Q&A features comedian Martel Blue, in his first interview. Clearly, his career can only go up. Martel talks to us about starting out as a comedian, his hope for Ashton and Demi and the phone call he expects to get after this interview runs. Here is this week’s TDQ Q&A with Martel Blue:

The Daily Quarterly: How did you hear about thedailyquarterly.com? 

Martel Blue: Well I got a message on Facebook and a mention from twitter. I checked the page out. Pretty nice stuff.

TDQ: How excited are you that The Daily Quarterly asked you for an interview?

Blue: I’m really excited! I never had an interview before so if I ever get famous you might want to save this. ;).

TDQ: Would you describe the hilarity that The Daily Quarterly brings every day as “epic” or “awe-inspiring?”

Blue: My favorite article so far is the one about “hand squeezed orange juice.” I don’t know why, but sarcastic humor has always been funny to me.
