TDQ: Tell us about Getcha Weight Up

Blue: It’s a little group that my friends made up. Who knows, it might turn into something big. “Getcha Weight Up” is a term that means do better or get better.

TDQ: You graduated from the same high school as Megan Fox. Surely that fact has opened some doors for you in the entertainment industry, right?

Blue: Not yet but I’m sure it will in the future! PSL is a small area and I just might have to move down to Miami to be around all the action.

TDQ: What’s the comedy scene like right now where you live, in South Florida?

Blue: Comedy is pretty good! I perform now at Shindig Pub and different spots in S. FL during the week. I try to perform at least four times a week. It’s tough but it will pay off. I also have a show April 19th in Kissimmee for Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa colleges.

TDQ: What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Blue: One of the best I received was “Gifts take us that I character can’t keep.” Meaning you can have all the talent in the world but you need the right character to keep you there.

TDQ: What’s the worst advice you’ve ever gotten?

Blue: “Give up”… Not happening.

TDQ: Do you think Ashton and Demi will be able to work things out? For the kids at least?

Blue: I would be able to answer that but due to the fact that I never had cable TV, I can’t. LOL I think they’ll work it out.

TDQ: Quick: Conan O’Brien or Jay Leno?

Blue: Jay Leno is a VET! He has to win hands down.

TDQ: Isn’t your career really all downhill from here after this interview runs?

Blue: Seems that way! You guys are the greatest for selecting for this interview. I’m expecting a call from Oprah tomorrow.

TDQ: Are you on Twitter? If yes, why aren’t you following @dailyquarterly?

Blue: I didn’t know you guys had a twitter but I will surely do so! Tell all your followers to follow me at @DatBlue.

TDQ: Better source of news using social media? The Daily Quarterly Facebook pageor @dailyquarterly on Twitter?

Blue: Twitter without a doubt. It’s quick, fast and to the point!

We’re glad we got to him before he gets huge. Read Part 1 of our TDQ Q&A with Martel Blue here.
