Las Vegas—Writer Martin Hazel has a very impressive list of people he’s interviewed over the years. From comedians to authors to actors to politicians, he’s met and spoken to people from all over the world in every industry.
But the interview that would possibly have been the greatest of his career apparently isn’t going to happen. At least, not yet.
Hazel had been in contact with a man named John Titor beginning in late 2001 and into the spring of 2002. Titor gained notoriety in chat rooms and internet circles around 2000 as a purported time traveling soldier sent from the future to retrieve a computer from the 1970s that contained vital information needed in his time. He said he had a working time machine, but was hanging around at the end of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century for personal reasons.
